Patterson trying to work out Louisville visit

Louisville lost Georgia native Harry Douglas off their 2007 team to the NFL, but now the Cardinals are looking back to the Peach State for another wide receiver who could fill his shoes. McDonough (Ga.) Henry County's Jamal Patterson has picked up more than a dozen early offers and has interest from the Cardinals.

Patterson is also a standout on the track where he earned all-state honors as a sophomore. His two primary events are the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles and he has placed first in both events in the two meets Henry County has run this year. His best time in the 110 hurdles in a 14.7.
