Coach's Corner featuring Christian Robinson

Who can tell you more about who you will be cheering for in the coming years better than the prospect's head coach? We put together a short question and answer segment asking the coaches questions about their former star recruits and future Georgia Bulldogs. The prospect featured in this edition of the Coach's Corner is four-star lineman Christian Robinson out of Norcross (Ga.).

Former Greater Atlanta Christian Head Coach Jimmy Chupp took the time to answer the following questions about Robinson.

Tell us about your Christian's play this year.

"First of all, Christian was a great leader in the off-season training, he was great leader in our meetings and in practice. The he hit the field and he was clearly our superstar on the field and it was hard to keep him off on offense, defense or special teams. He is so capable at playing so many different positions and he played tight end, wide receiver, he took some direct snaps at QB, he was long snapper, and on defense he played inside and outside linebacker. He is just one of those kids with great ability that has a great attitude and he comes from a great family."

How has he improved while you have been coaching him?

"He called upon to do more this year, so he had a burden on his shoulders. His junior year we had 25 seniors and a mixture of kids that could tote the load, so he just shared the load. We asked him to more this past year and he did it. He could have done more as a junior, but we did not ask him to. He had to carry us so many times this year and he did that very well. Plus, his body matured a lot from his junior to senior year and he got a lot stronger and faster."
