KU, Texas set for Big 12 final
Throughout the season, Kansas (30-3, 13-3) and Texas (28-5, 13-5) were widely considered the two best teams in the Big 12. Sunday's conference championship game will prove which of the two is the best. For the third straight season, the Jayhawks and Longhorns will battle for the tournament title, this time in front of a very pro-Kansas crowd.
KU has won the past two, and are not only looking for their third consecutive championship, but a little redemption over Texas, who defeated the Jayhawks last month. Both teams are in position to grab one of four top seeds in the NCAA tournament with a win. Sunday's game will close what has been a great weekend of basketball at the new Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.
