Peach State tight end favors Georgia
One position that does not appear to be very deep in the Peach State in 2009 is tight end. A few prospects are vying to be the best at that position and Justin Jones is one of them.
"Auburn has been sending me the most mail so far, but I have also been getting some from Alabama, Middle Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, South Carolina, and a few others," said Jones.
One of the in-state schools hasn't shown interest through the mail, but Coach Willie Martinez did stop in early in 2008.
"Georgia hasn't really sent me any letters, but they did come by the school and talk to my coach about me. They invited me up for a visit and I am going up there for their Junior Day."
The Dawgs have become Jones' clear cut leader early on.
"It is UGA, I really like UGA," he said when asked if one school stood out. "Georgia is close to home and I have always just liked them and followed them. I have been to games there since I was young and I really like it over there. I went to all the home games last year."
The Auburn game stood out to the 6-foot-8, 240-pound tight end more than any others.
