SoCal OL has the look
Offensive lineman Caylin Hauptmann (6-4, 315, 5.1) from Beverly Hills, Calif., passed the look test at the recent Rivals.com Five-star Academy held at Anaheim (Calif.) Servite and after viewing his highlight video, he passed the real test. This young man can play.
What makes Hauptmann an even more valuable lineman is his versatility. He played center for both is freshman and sophomore years. He moved to left guard as a junior and there is a very good chance that he will play weak side tackle for his senior season this fall.
Hauptmann also played some defensive tackle as a junior, plus he played in the goal line and short yardage packages on defense.
Hauptmann is leaving nothing to chance as he is working very hard this off-season and is planning on attending camps to further his football knowledge and ability starting with the NIKE Combine in Long Beach this coming March.
The scouting report on Hauptmann is he has quick feet and has that nasty attitude you like to have your offensive linemen to have.
