Georgia is on Calhoun hard
One of the more versatile athletes in Georgia visited Athens on Saturday and he liked what he saw. Tucker's Drayton Calhoun is being recruited to play multiple positions on the next level and the Bulldogs made a move for him over the weekend.
"They took us on an academic tour, they showed us the campus, they showed us the dorms, they fed us good,, they took us to the basketball game, and I got to meet with Coach [Mark] Richt before I left," said Calhoun.
"It was a great visit, I saw a lot of things, I got a better feel for UGA outside of football, and everything was real nice."
The first person Calhoun saw when he arrived was his Recruiting Coach Rodney Garner.
"Right when I walked up, I saw Coach Garner, so we talked for a little bit. We talked about me for a minute, how things are going at Tucker, and he let me know how he bad he and Georgia wants me there. We had a nice talk."
From there, the 6-foot-0, 175-pound speedster move on to Georgia's secondary coach and Defensive Coordinator WillieMartinez.
