UGA showed Gresham attention in Athens

Georgia held their first Junior Day last weekend and a number of the top prospects in Georgia were there if they were not involved in the basketball playoffs. It held a few of them back, but one junior from right outside of Athens made the short trip to UGA and Chaun Gresham was shown some attention by the Georgia coaching staff. He hung out with some recruits, he got to stand on the playing field, and he talks about his visit here.

"I hung out with some of the recruits like Zach Mettenberger
(UGA Commitment) and Izaan Cross, I talked to Coach [John] Jancek a lot, I saw the campus, and it was a lot of fun," Gresham said about his visit to Georgia.

"Coach Jancek let me know that he is very interested in me and he just asked for me to patient. It was cool talking with him because I met him when I was in ninth grade. I have known him for a while and we have a cool relationship. I know he likes me a lot."

The 6-foott-3, 208-pound linebacker out of Apalachee already has offers from Marshall, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Georgia Tech. The Bulldogs have not offered yet, but he still has interest in them.

"I have been to Georgia before and I really like it there," he said. "I know some of the guys around there, I love the fans at the games, and I really like the coaches."
