Auburn gets big road win at Ole Miss

Quan Prowell scored 25 points as Auburn picked up a big road win over Ole Miss 90-78 Saturday afternoon at Tad Smith Coliseum.

The Tigers (13-10, 3-7 SEC), shooting a season-best 63 percent from the floor, also got 23 points from DeWayne Reed and 15 points apiece from Rasheem Barrett and Frank Tolbert.

Prowell shot 11-of-15 from the floor and added four rebounds and five assists. Quantez Robertson added seven points eight rebounds and 10 assists for the Tigers.

"We shot the ball so darn well," said AU head coach Jeff Lebo. "You're supposed to win when you shoot 63 percent, 50 from three and 70 from the foul line. We got high-percentage looks and put the ball in the basket."

The win snapped a five-game losing streak for the Tigers who had a week off following an 83-64 loss to Mississippi State last Saturday.
