Robinson was anxious and excited

We caught up with Rivals250 linebacker Christian Robinson after he signed with the University of Georgia on Wednesday for an exclusive interview. We recapped his last 24 hours leading up to National Signing Day, what it felt like to be officially part of the Bulldog family, how excited he was and more.

Robinson took the time to sit down with us after signing with the Dawgs Wednesday morning and we touched on many different subjects.

The first thing we asked him about was, now that Signing Day is over and him to UGA is official, how does he feel, and Robinson said, "I am just relived, excited and I am ready for this next stage. Ever since I committed, I have been dreaming of getting over there and that is the place for me."

We then touched on those last 24 hours leading up to signing day and he did not get much sleep because he was anxious to become a Bulldog.

"I could not go to sleep," he said. "I laid down about 1am and I woke up around 3am and I was walking around the house, then I got back in the bed at 4am and I did not go to sleep."

Robinson's commitment to UGA was solid from the get go, but he said their was one difference between a verbal commitment and him signing on Wednesday.

"It lets me know that I don't have to worry about anybody not thinking I am one hundred percent. There is always a question if someone is all the way there, but I think this shows that this is final and this is where I am going."
