Rosario lights up the RAC

The scarlet nation has very good reason to be excited about the arrival of St. Anthony product Mike Rosario. The McDonald's All American guard put his skills on display at the RAC this Friday in the 2008 Primetime Shootout against John Carroll (MD). Rosario felt right at home as he outscored the entire Carroll team in the first half by a count of 24-16.

"It felt great to come out on my future court and have the opportunity to play here today," said Rosario. "It just felt great. It was comfortable being here today. I've been here in the summer working out with Quincy Douby. I was used to the rims. I was out here working out ahead of time before I had the chance to come here."

Rosario finished with a game high 32 points in a little less than three quarters of action. He knocked down five out of seven three pointers and made each one look as easy as making a layup.
