CU had no answer for KU talent

For Colorado freshman guard Cory Higgins, Saturday was not only his first game against Kansas, but his first chance to see his home court surrounded by thousands of visiting Jayhawk fans. For the most of the game though, Higgins and the Buffalos gave Kansas all they could handle before falling to Kansas 72-59.

Going into halftime Colorado managed to keep the score tied at 30. For first year Colorado coach Jeff Bzdelic, turnovers and fatigue were the deciding factors for the Buffalos that propelled Kansas to victory.
