New offer goes out for 2009
With the final touches being put on the Class of 2008, the Missouri Tigers are already hitting the Class of 2009 hard. Mizzou has two in-state commitments in that group already, and recently extended another written offer.
The Tigers offered Hazelwood East lineman Darius Ford on Sunday according to his coach, Corey Johnson.
Kansas State has also offered Ford while Iowa State, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan State and Kansas are showing heavy interest as well. The Tigers certainly opened some eyes in the city of St. Louis this year with their first ever 12-win season.
Ford checks in at 6-foot-4, 270 pounds. He has played on both sides of the ball for Johnson since his sophomore year.
