Tigers have plans for down time

Sophomore DL Sen'Derrick Marks just wants to rest. No high school football games. No trips to his hometown. No road trips. Just him and his couch.

After 11 straight games, the latest a 45-20 loss to Georgia, Marks and the Tigers get this weekend off.

Auburn practiced Thursday morning for a little more than an hour, and the majority of the players headed home afterwards. Not Marks, though. He's not planning on going anywhere. It defeats the whole purpose, according to him.

"I really want to just lie down," he said. "I want to go home, but if I go home then I'm not going to lie down. And if I go anywhere else, I'm not going to lie down. So I may just stay at home and just lay around while nobody's here, so I don't have to worry about anybody."
