Sean Mosley set to sign

Baltimore standout guard Sean Mosley is one of three high school basketball prospects the Terps are hoping to sign this week and the St. Frances star said he will get the ball rolling on the class today with his signature.

The 6-4, 205-pounder verbally committed to the Terps in the fall over second choice Syracuse and others. He's been a regular at Maryland's early season games, and played pick-up this summer with the team.

Mosley talked before the Terps game against North Florida about what can be expected on Wednesday, and what's new on the eve of his senior season.

"I'm pretty sure that I'm going to sign on the first day. Me and my dad have talked a lot about the opportunity I have here at Maryland. Every day is busy for me with school, basketball, and taking SAT prep courses, but I think that I can get it done on Wednesday."

Mosley took the SAT test in early November and is registered for the December and February tests. He is still trying to qualify.

"I'm just looking for a qualifying score right now. I'll see how I did each month before taking the test again but I'm going to take it every time it is offered until I get it done."

Twice a week Mosley sits with an instructor helping him prepare for taking the exam.
