Hurst ready to get on campus

Plainfield, Ind., tight end Nelson Hurst took his official visit to Starkville over the weekend, and while not his first time on campus, it was the most electric. As a December grad, and a previous commitment, he will be back soon, but took full advantage of his time watching his new team claim the 17 -12 victory over Alabama.

Hurst was able to make the trip last weekend, only after his team was eliminated from the playoffs, but after seeing the largest crowd in MSU history, that disappointment was replaced with euphoria.

He was hosted by several new teammates during the trip. On Friday Dakota Merritt gave him the tour, while Saturday J.C. Brignone and D.J. Looney took the reigns. While no stranger to Starkville several things stood out to him.
