Top Peach State junior visited UGA

Jarvis Jones is being talked about in the top group of prospects in the class of 2009 and he visited the University of Georgia Saturday. The Dawgs had a blackout and Jones comments on that, the big UGA win, if UGA offered and more.

"The game against Auburn was great - it was really amazing," said Jones. "It was my first game ever at Georgia and it was off the chain."

"I liked the black out a lot - those uniforms looked great. The fans were loud, very loud and it was an amazing atmosphere."

"I had heard a lot about Georgia and what it was like there, but they passed my expectations. I loved it there."

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound junior athlete did not get a chance to talk with the coaches, but he did pay close attention to his position on the field.

"I got there a little late, so I missed the chance to talk with Georgia, but I still had a great time. I know I will talk to them soon."

"When I got up to the stands, I watched the linebackers and tight ends closely. I like how both positions played Saturday. The tight ends made some catches and nice blocks and the linebackers had some big hits. The whole team looked real good."
