Little off to a hot start

If Mario Little's performance during the first three regular season games of the year is an indication of what's to come, he's going to have a successful career at Kansas. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound small forward has helped guide Chipola Junior College in Marianna, Fl., to a perfect 3-0 record. Jayhawk Slant spoke to Little about his season to date and his plans for signing with the Jayhawks.

Little, the No. 1 ranked junior college prospect in the class of 2008 has had scoring games of 18, 26 and 16. After averaging 10-points and six rebounds last year while coming off the bench, Little is proving to be one of the elite junior college prospects in the class.

Little, who originally hails from Chicago, committed to Kansas back on October 10. However, it took the talented small forward much longer to make a decision than expected.
