Is UGA in the mix for a five-star LB?

One of the most heralded recruits in the country has made his final cuts, he has set up his official visits and he has named the day that he will let everyone know where he will be playing college football. Five-star linebacker Arthur Brown has every offer you can think of and he has it down to 10 finalists.

Brown will officially visit 5 schools and he has already visited Alabama and North Carolina while visits to LSU (this weekend), Miami and USC are coing up.

Georgia is one of Brown's final 10 and we caught up with his mentor Brian Butler to see what he had to say about the Dawgs.

"I can tell you that Georgia's Mark Richt made a very big impression on Author," said Butler. "He made a big impression on all of us - Author, his dad, Bryce Brown and me."

"Coach Richt is such a high character guy and that really stood out to us. He is the leader at Georgia and he is the guy that makes everything happen. Hard to find a better leader than he is."

Athens was one of the many college cities this 6-foot-1, 215-pound Wichita (Kan.) linebacker visited over the summer. He was only there for a short time, but he saw some things he liked according to Butler.

"The stadium was beautiful and he made a lot of comments on how he liked the hedges and how beautiful everything was."

"He thought the campus was nice, he really liked the dorms, but I go back to Coach Richt and the Georgia coaches for what he liked the most. He had a really good visit to Georgia."
