Junior DT favors Rutgers

Recruiting the defensive tackle position is never easy, as it takes a player with a unique combination of speed, size, and athleticism to excel at the next level. One recruit that is definitely turning heads is junior DT Tyson Chandler of North Plainfield (NJ), who at 6-foot-6 and 330-pounds, is one of the largest prospects in New Jersey's Class of 2009.

Chandler is receiving interest from UConn, Rutgers, Purdue, LSU, Syracuse and Pitt.
