Early impressions on Mizzou

The 11th ranked Missouri Tigers head to Norman this Saturday for the biggest game of the year in the Big 12 Conference.

The Sooners are looking to make their way back into the national championship picture but they're also trying to keep a firm grasp on the Big 12 South Division.

Bob Stoops and Lewis Baker both gave some early thoughts on the Missouri Tigers on Monday following the evening practice.

Bob Stoops' initial thoughts on Missouri…

They're very impressive. We know they're a really good football team. I felt that a year ago and the same thing this year.

Bob Stoops on the challenge of facing Chase Daniel again…

Well, he's really good. He's accurate and he's obviously very comfortable in the system and knows right where he wants to go with the ball. You've got to do a good job of trying to bother him or squeeze people or get pressure and change up what you're doing.

Bob Stoops on the talented pair of tight ends at Missouri…

I think they're excellent players but they're not used in traditional tight end sets though. It's more like they're wide receivers. They're always flexed out. They're just not in your typical tight end mode in what you ask them to do.
