Arizona freshman forward Zane Johnson has the opportunity to play close to home and follow in the footsteps of some former Wildcats from the Phoenix area.
Johnson's ability to shoot the ball well from deep attracted Arizona and he would not pass up the opportunity to stay in-state and play for the Wildcats.
Last season, the Wildcats lacked a three-point threat that was consistent and Johnson feels that he can become Arizona's deep threat. The 6-foot-5, 199-pound native of Phoenix Thunderbird has a chance to become Arizona's X-factor off of the bench.
