Dawgs & Rebs ready for action

The Ole Miss team that faces Georgia Saturday afternoon in Sanford Stadium bears little resemblance to the squad that the Bulldogs struggled to beat 14-9 in 2006.

These Rebels can pass the ball, too.

That wasn't the case last year, when former quarterback

Brent Schaeffer only attempted 15 passes, completing 6 for a mere 87 yards, leaving the bulk of the offensive work to talented tailback

BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who rushed 24 times for 135 yards.

Current quarterback

Seth Adams almost accounted for Schaeffer's numbers with one pass when he hooked up with

Mike Wallace for a 77-yard touchdown last week against Florida.

"They've changed their offensively philosophy to a degree," Georgia coach

Mark Richt said. "Seth Adams is playing beautifully; he is the key to their success, in my opinion.
