ASI Insider Report: Starting DTs still not cleared

FSU could be without two starting defensive linemen (By Ira Schoffel, Osceola)

Even after more than a week to rest, there's a chance that Florida State's defense will be without both of its starting defensive tackles this Saturday against Alabama.

Senior Andre Fluellen, who missed the Colorado game with partially torn ligaments in his elbow, missed most of Tuesday's practice and is unsure of his status for this weekend. And sophomore Budd Thacker, who leads all interior linemen with 13 tackles through three games, was again held out of practice while he recovers from a dislocated toe.

Fluellen said he has been working with trainers every day to speed up the recovery process, but his elbow still is too "weak" to generate any power with his arms.
