Alexander the Great?

It's tough to keep an athlete like Earl Alexander on the sidelines. After redshirting his freshman season at Alabama, the former quarterback from Phenix City took his first meaningful snaps since 2005 last Saturday against Western Carolina. It didn't take long to see why Alexander was one of the most highly recruited athletes in the South coming out of high school.

Alexander caught a pass on his first snap and went on to finish with 4 catches for 40 yards. Getting off to a fast start was something Alexander felt was necessary for his career after being off the field for nearly two years.
