When will Samuels arrive?

Power forward Jamar Samuels was the last addition for Kansas State to the No. 2 rated recruiting class in the country. The 6-foot-8, 210-pound Samuels decided in May to speed up the recruiting process and re-classified his status to be a 2007 recruit rather than a 2008 target. Samuels chose to sign with the Wildcats over scholarship offers from George Mason, Georgetown, Seton Hall and Tennessee.

Now, according to his coach at The Patterson School, Chris Chaney, Samuels will not be part of the K-State roster when the NCAA allows practices to start in mid-October.
