Training Camp: Offensive Players to Watch
As August training camp starts Monday, Texas A&M isn't looking for that many answers on offense. The Aggies have a highly experienced and talented offensive line that is one of the top units in the nation, and possibly the best in school history. The running game is as good as anyone in the county with super sophomore Mike Goodson, power back Jorvorskie Lane, fullback Chris Alexander and tough-as-nails quarterback Stephen McGee.
The Aggies have some question marks at receiver after losing top receivers Chad Schroeder and L'Tydrick Riley, but do have one of the top tight ends in the country in Martellus Bennett and speed at receiver with Kerry Franks and E.J. Shankle.
With an offense like this, the Aggies aren't looking for starters to emerge in position battles this August. This August, however, A&M will be looking to prepare backups in case they need to step up in a leadership role sometime during the season.
Here are the top five players to watch this August on offense:

Brown has been the one player that has surfaced every spring and every August as the next great playmaker at receiver for A&M. With Schroeder and Riley gone, and a load of inexperienced underclassmen still learning the system it's put up or shut up time for Brown.
The 6-foot-2, 193-pound junior has all the skills to be one of McGee's favorites targets at receiver in 2007, and with a spot in the starting lineup he may become just that. He has had flashes of greatness in the past, but it's time Brown became an every down threat.
