McCarron is special

Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul's offensive coordinator Tyler Siskey has worked with college quarterbacks before. He knows a good one when he sees one - and 2009 prospect A.J. McCarron is a good one.

McCarron, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound prospect, attended Friday Night Lights and he has been a starter at St. Paul's since his freshman season. As a sophomore, he threw for 1,974 yards with 25 touchdowns and only four interceptions. That's one of the most impressive facets in McCarron's game, Siskey said. He knows how to keep the ball away from the defense.
