Back from Champaign

Jacob Charest wasn't quite sure what to expect when he flew into Champaign this weekend. But what he found out was that Illinois had a lot more to offer than he could have ever anticipated.

"It was great," said Charest, "Everybody there, even the players there seem like it's a great place to be. It kind of feels like everybody accepts everybody."

The two-star quarterback says he would give the visit a 9.9 out of 10. The Butler High School star was surprised at how much fun he had, so much so that the Illini have jumped out in front of the race.

"They are probably the top right now," said Charest.

"All the coaches were great, it seemed like off the field they are these great guys, they joke around and do all this stuff. They are players coaches, but when they get on the field they can be serious."
