Texas safety makes his decision

Each year, Katy High School in Katy, Texas, produces plenty of Division I talent. Not only is the team one of the perennial powers in 5A, the school is known as a must-stop spot for college recruiters. The 2008 recruiting class will be no different. Safety Trent Hunter became the third prospect from his high school to have verbally committed before the fall season begins.

Hunter gave a verbal commitment to K-State coach Ron Prince during the team's football camp this week.

Michigan State, Arkansas, Purdue and Northwestern were also heavily recruiting Hunter.
