Cali DE with double digit offers

Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei is long on football tradition in California high school circles. They've put a number of athletes into the Division I ranks. For 2008, one of the top prospects for the Monarchs is defensive end Cameron Meredith. The 6-foot-4, 222-pound three-star prospect has been raking in the scholarship offers. Duck Sports Authority talked with Meredith about his recruitment.

Meredith told us that recently added his tenth scholarship offer.

"I just got offered by Boise State last week," he said. "That's good because they have a really good program over there."

The Boise State offer is in addition to his prior tenders from Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arizona and San Diego State.

A couple of those schools are putting in the extra effort to get Meredith's commitment.
