Kicking expert talks about OU's newest commit

It's easy for a bunch of armchair kickers to sit around and talk about what might make a good kicker but SoonerScoop.com decided to get in touch with nationall respected kicking and punting coach Chris Sailer. Sailer offered his thoughts thoughts on one of his most recent campers and Sooner commitment Tress Way.

Josh McCuistion: Do you feel that Tress' future is brighter as a punter? He mentioned you had told him that he had a good frame for it, could you explain to those not as well versed?

Chris Sailer: Tress has tremendous potential as a punter. He has the size, strength and athleticism to excel at the punting position. But he is still raw. He has work to do. Fortunately, Tress has the work ethic to make it happen. His potential is equal as both a punter and kicker. Right now he is a much better kicker. However he will have a chance to be outstanding as both.
