Gophers watching sunshine juco

Okaloosa-Walton (FL) Community College's Keith Ramsey is one of a few jucos being looked at by Tubby Smith and Ramsey has the potential to contribute immediately as a junior. The 6-foot-8, 205 pound forward averaged 11.2 points and 7.4 rebounds as a freshman and several high major schools are looking at Ramsey because it's felt he should be able to put up points quickly upon arrival.

Ramsey was the second option for Okaloosa-Walton last year as freshman teammate Tay Waller, a 6-foot-2 guard, scored 18.6 points a game.

At this point Ramsey has no leaders but Minnesota, Arkansas, Missouri and UNLV are after him the strongest out of need and they are considered the schools getting most of his interest.
