Baylor Elite Camp leaves impression

The Baylor Elite Camp saw several talented prospects come through Waco. Over the course of the two-day camp prospects were able to take in what Baylor had to offer, work on their abilities, and compete against some of the top prospects across the country.

One thing most of these guys had in common was most had either attended Elite camps at other schools or were coming off one of the shoe company camps. Needless to say there were some tired legs out there, but everyone seemed to have a good time regardless of how spent they were.

The Class of 2008

The 2008 class saw talents like Monroe (La.) Carroll forward Terrance Henry and Duncanville, Texas forward Will Brown.

Brown is rated the No. 100 in the latest Rivals150 and has been making the rounds this summer.

"Things are going pretty good going to camps," said Brown. "I'm just looking forward to July and I've just been sitting at home doing summer school for a little while to get some more credits and grades."

The 6-8 forward has pulled in offers from across the Big 12 region but is hearing from three schools a little more often than the others.

"Baylor, Oklahoma, and UTEP are the hardest," he said. "All three of them are really standing out."
