Linemen to battle for scholarships

Very few instate offensive linemen have ended up at Arkansas without going through camp at Arkansas, and several talented prospects will be competing for a coveted Razorback scholarship this week at the Houston Nutt Football Camp in Fayetteville (Ark.).

The top offensive line prospect at the camp is 6-foot-10, 320-pound Russellville (Ark.) offensive tackle Matt Hall. Hall is regarded by some as the state's top prospect, and he is already committed to the Razorbacks. Hall is in the best shape of his life and looks incredibly trim and fit at this stage in his career.

Prospects who have a solid shot at an Arkansas offer include Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside's Austin Eoff, 6-5, 308; Bentonville (Ark.) standout Tyler Barnes, 6-4, 290; and Springdale (Ark.) Har-Ber's Bryant Newell, 6-7, 298. New to the mix is Jonesboro (Ark.) lineman Jordan Hightower, 6-9, 375. Hall has some advice for his new friends.
