Patchan likes Lane and LSU
Looking to continue the streak of successful recruiting in the Sunshine State of Florida, the LSU coaching staff is after one of the state's top lineman.
Armwood High School offensive tackle Matt Patchan is a four-star player according to the newly released Rivals.com rankings and is rated as the eighth best offensive tackle in the country.
The 6-7, 265-pound Patchan already has scholarship offers on the table from the likes of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami-Fla., Ole Miss, Nebraska and Notre Dame.
"I tried to just become a better football player this spring in every aspect of my game," Patchan said. "If you stay the same in any area, you are going to go backwards at some point. Everything is important and I tried to improve this spring in everything that I did. If you are not improving in everything, then you are losing at something. That is what I believe and the philosophy that I live by.
