D-end stands out at camp
College coaches welcome events such as the NIKE Camp at their schools because it gives them an opportunity to showcase their facilities and campus to hundreds of the top college prospects in the region.
The NIKE Camp held at Purdue this past highlighted prospects like Naperville (Ill.) Central defensive end Josh Jelesky.
The 6-foot-6, 230-pound Jelesky came into the NIKE Camp with one offer, from Hawaii, under his belt. He exited feeling good about the chances of picking up more very soon.
Coaches from Michigan State, Purdue, Northern Illinois and Miami (Ohio) all sent messages saying they were impressed and liked what they saw out of Jelesky on Saturday.
