Three Clemson coaches visit state's top back

Big-time running back Andre Ellington had the attention of all his classmates, friends and teachers on Tuesday afternoon. Mainly because a familiar face known state-wide stopped by.

What did he think when Clemson head football coach Tommy Bowden, aided by a pair of his assistant coaches David Blackwell and Andre Powell, made the trek to Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner?

"It was big today when the head coach came," Ellington told Tigerillustrated.com Tuesday evening. "Everyone in my school was real excited for me. Coach Bowden came in around lunch time. I enjoyed that."
