Jordan: UK still a possible destination

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The participants in the Derby Festival Basketball Classic arrived in Louisville on Thursday and one of the nation's top recruits left the door open for Kentucky to possibly wind up being his ultimate destination despite already having signed with another school.

The biggest news of the day came from Texas A&M signee DeAndre Jordan, one of the nation's top post players, who inked with the Aggies when Billy Gillispie was their head coach. Now that Gillispie has taken over at UK Jordan wants to weigh his possibilities.

Gillispie told reporters on Thursday morning that he would not pursue Jordan or any other signed recruit

Still, Jordan sounded like UK could still be a player in his recruitment if a scheduled meeting with new Texas A&M coach Mark Turgeon did not go well next week. Of course, Jordan would still have to be released from his National Letter of Intent.
