Pullman Practice Report - Day 10
The quarterbacks, led by Alex Brink, had a field day in 11-on-11 drills in Thursday's spring football practice.
Wide receiver Brandon Gibson had himself quite the day, catching deep pass after deep pass anywhere on the field and anyway he could.
The junior-to-be reeled in a 60-yard bomb from Brink, a leaping catch in the corner of the end zone, an over-the-shoulder grab from Cole Morgan after burning Markus Dawes and another catch from Brink, an over-the-shoulder, one-handed catch.
Also turning himself in a great day was tight end Jed Collins. Collins displayed the catching ability he showed last season when he caught 22 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns.
The senior-to-be had three catches on the day, one of them using only one hand, and all were over the middle in heavy traffic.
Defensively, Mike Graise was able to get his hands on two attempted passes, batting them to the ground.
