Offensive Line heals in time for G-Day
The Georgia Bulldogs enjoyed the lovely weather in Athens on Wednesday afternoon as they practiced for the tenth time in 2007 in preparation for Georgia's spring game on April 7.
Head coach Mark Richt and offensive line coach Stacy Searels got some good news as sophomore tackle Vince Vance began practicing in a green jersey Wednesday after suffering a PCL injury in the first week of camp.
"I was able to do a little something. I did some pass pro and a little bit of run blocking, said Vance. "I think I will be able to play in G-Day. My knee is a little aggravated but it is nothing I cannot handle. I am ready to comeback I just need to get a pass from the doctor, but personally I think I am ready to comeback."
Vance thinks is still in the mix at tackle even though he has not been able to practice for two weeks.
"You learn just as much from watching as you do playing, you just have to be able to pay more attention. I think (the injury) has set me back a little bit," said Vance.
