Bayless set to represent UA as All-American

Tonight at 5:00pm MST, five-star Arizona signee Jerryd Bayless will appear on national TV for the first time as he performs in the McDonald's All-American game, live on ESPN from Louisville (Ky.).

Bayless will be looking to duplicate the efforts of Arizona freshman Chase Budinger, who last year shared co-MVP honors with Kevin Durant of Texas following a 112-94 West victory.

For those that have seen Bayless play over his four-year career at St. Mary's High School in Phoenix, there's not much doubt that he belongs "at the top" and after a big weekend of practice, he's one of the candidates to take home the MVP trophy on Wednesday night.

Rivals.com's Jerry Meyer called Bayless "the most dynamic player" in Monday's practice, as he "ferociously attacked the basket and hit pull up jumpers."
