Practice Report #3: Harrell big on chemistry

Last spring Graham Harrell was fighting for the starting spot, this spring his role has changed quite a bit. With a bevy of new receivers, and an almost entirely rebuilt offensive line, this spring is all about building continuity. With all the new faces it is vital that they understand each other in order for the offense to run smoothly.

"Right now we are just really working on getting on the same page. There are a lot of new guys out there and I think that it is really starting to come together well."

One of the more obvious questions coming into this spring is at the wide receiver position. With the departure of Robert Johnson, Joel Filani, and Jarret Hicks, there is a noticeably different depth chart this spring.

"We have a lot of young guys ready to contribute. Most of them have been here for a while so I have been throwing to them for a while. The chemistry has been good. We are really starting to put it all together."

While there are a lot of names we don't know, one name that everyone has been taking notice of is Michael Crabtree.

"Crab and I are building some great chemistry. He makes my job a whole lot easier. I just throw it to him and he's usually going to come down with it. He is one of the best receivers I have ever seen. He is definitely making the transition easier."
