Bulldogs put in work

Mississippi State conducted spring practice number 11 under the watchful eye of high school coaches from the surrounding areas. Safety Brandon Thornton was the newest member of what the coaches called the FEMA guys(injured guys that do not practice), as he dislocated his shoulder Tuesday.

Juco transfer Dominic Douglas, former wide receiver Keon Humphries, and Aaron Feld were the newest Bulldogs to receive numbers.

"We had some good work; Mike has another good day throwing the ball, I thought our defense did well practicing down and distance in different areas of the field and in different situations.

"I thought our defense made significant improvement today. We are not going to practice tomorrow, but we will have a good scrimmage on Saturday," Coach Croom mentioned with a smile.

The Bulldogs will have one more scrimmage next week during the annual Super Bulldog Weekend, but Coach Croom shared a few thoughts about what he is looking for Saturday.
