Could be last home game for Davis

Saturday is Senior Night for the LSU basketball team when it faces South Carolina.

What was a five-person signing class four years ago has dropped to one. Darnell Lazare is the only player remaining from the 2003 recruiting class.

Brandon Bass is playing for the New Orleans Hornets, Regis Koundjia is playing at George Washington, Ross Neltner is playing at Vanderbilt and Tack Minor left school due to academic issues earlier this year.

While Lazare will be the only player definitely participating in his final regular season game at the PMAC, there is a good possibility that Glen Davis will be suiting up at home for the last time barring a NIT game.

Davis practiced Friday and indicated that he expects to come off the bench and play about 20 minutes against the Gamecocks. Following practice Friday, Davis talked extensively about his injury and his future.
