LLP racking up accolades

The awards keep coming for future Wildcat guard Laval Lucas-Perry. The Flint (Mich.) Powers Catholic guard is one of the state's - if not nation's - elite athletes and certainly has his fair share of awards as proof.

In football, the 6-foot-3 athlete took home the state's biggest honor, being named to Michigan's Dream Team. In Michigan, the Dream Team is considered a bigger award than all-state. Of course, 'LLP' was all-state too after leading his team in tackles as a defensive back.

LLP has followed Arizona closely all season long, so getting to attend the Wildcats' biggest game of the season is something he's pretty happy about.

While LLP is rooting hard for the current Arizona team, he also has his eyes on the future. The coaches have talked to him about making an impact next season, and he's looking forward to his chance.
