Word getting out about Ray Polk

On Tuesday, Rivals.com released its list of 250 players to watch in the 2008 class and five kids from the state of Arizona made the cut. One of them was 6-foot-1, 190-pound Ray Polk, who is considered to be one of the top junior running backs on the West Coast.

As a junior at Brophy High School, Polk ran for 1,423 yards off of 164 carries, which was good for 21 touchdowns on the season.

Arizona has been on Polk since the beginning of his recruitment but the Wildcats suddenly have company. Oregon State, Colorado, Boise State, Oklahoma State, Nevada and Oregon are all showing interest as well.
