Osby focused on winning State Championship

Romero Osby's quest to win a State Championship remains very much alive. After two dominating performances against Kemper County and Louisville, the 6-foot-8, 230-pound power forward from Northeast Lauderdale High School in Meridian, Miss., heads to the North State Playoffs with a great deal of confidence and optimism. Jayhawk Slant spoke to Osby about his Northeast Lauderdale's upcoming play run and where his recruitment stands at this time.

Osby, the No. 31 ranked player in the class of 2008, has been flat-out sensational throughout his junior campaign. Against Kemper County this past weekend, he scored 16-points, grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out seven dimes, swatted two shots and had two steals. Northeast Lauderdale defeated Kemper County, 78-71.
