Any battle of the Stags and O'Connell of course pits future Georgetown student-athletes Austin Freeman (Class of 2007) and Jason Clark (Class of 2008). Following is a review of their performances.

Austin Freeman: Contributing 23 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, Freeman scored 17 of his points in the first half by converting at the rim, on 3-pointers, on mid-range jumpers and at the foul line.

Three quick fourth-quarter fouls seemed to derail him.

Jason Clark: Despite ending up on the losing end, Clark was the player of the game, contributing 35 points, two assists, six rounds (three offensive), and three steals.

His scoring output was equally distributed between both halves (17 in the first, 18 in the second) and included a nice first half steal and subsequent fast break dunk, along with shots produced by back cuts, stop-and-pops, 3-pointers and free throws. Clark is also releasing his jump shot with confidence and increased touch.
