Can KU Steele Four-Star PG?

Marty Smith has coached quite a few talented players during his time at John Carroll High School. Andrew Steele, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound point guard from Birmingham, Ala., is right near the top of that last. The No. 66 ranked player in the class of 2008 is still in the beginning stages of his recruitment, but a number of high-major programs have expressed a heavy amount of interest in Steele. The talented point guard has a longstanding relationship with a member of the Kansas coaching staff, but are the Jayhawks still an option for Steele?

Steele, the No. 7 ranked point guard in the class, is starting to make a name for himself on the basketball court. His brother, Ronald Steele, was a five-star prospect and the No. 24 ranked player coming out of John Carroll High School back in 2004. Now a junior at Alabama, Steele is currently averaging 10.3-points and 4.5 assists per game.
