Patterson could be Duke's final piece

Patrick Patterson and his Huntington teammates headed back home Wednesday after their come from behind win over Artesia Tuesday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

But before leaving, Patterson had a chance to listen to another recruiting pitch from Mike Krzyzewski and the Blue Devil staff, who met with the five-star forward for breakfast.

The 6-8, 230 pounder, who had scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in Huntington's 73-66 victory, said the meeting was pleasant and that Duke made sure he left knowing that he could be the final ingredient in a 2007 recruiting class that is already one of the best in the country.
